Running it
What do I need to run it?
A PC or a tablet at the counter, a thermal printer, and an internet connection. The till installs as an app, so a captain can carry a tablet around the floor.
Does it work on a tablet?
Yes. The till is the same app on a counter PC or a tablet. Captains usually take orders on a tablet at the table.
Can two people use the same login?
No, and that is on purpose. One account signs in on one device. Signing in somewhere else asks first, then signs the other one out. It stops a username being passed around the floor.
Will it work with my printer?
It prints to thermal printers on 58mm and 80mm rolls, talking to the printer directly rather than through a browser print dialog. Tell us the model you have and we will confirm it on the demo call.
Bills and GST
Does it handle GST?
Yes. CGST and SGST are split on the bill and the outlet's GSTIN is printed on it. Each outlet carries its own GSTIN and its own bill footer.
Can a guest pay part cash and part UPI?
Yes. A bill can be split across cash, UPI and card, and change is calculated for you.
Can a cashier give a discount on their own?
Only if you allow it. Discounts on the till need the owner's approval before they apply.
What about a refund or an exchange?
Both work against a settled bill, so the original transaction stays on record rather than being edited away.
What it does not do
Does it track inventory or recipe costing?
No. It does not track stock, ingredients or recipe costs today.
Does it connect to Swiggy or Zomato?
No. There is no delivery-aggregator integration today. Parcel and counter sales are handled on the till itself.
Is there a loyalty programme or table booking?
No. It stores a regular customer's name and number so the cashier can find them, but there are no loyalty points and no table reservations.
Is there an app on the Play Store?
No. The till and the admin are web apps that install to the home screen. There is nothing to download from a store.
